One of the most anticipated modern 18XX titles is finally receiving a commercial release. The Old Prince 1871, published by Grand Trunk Games and designed by Lucas Boyd, is now live on Kickstarter.
Set on Prince Edward Island, The Old Prince 1871 has been in development for nearly seven years and has already built a strong following through print-and-play editions and online play. The game is described as a modern 18XX classic, featuring a distinctive train roster, innovative map design, and an emphasis on player interaction and operational decision-making.
The production also features graphic design by Jan Lipiński, known for his acclaimed work on John Company 2nd Edition and Horseless Carriage, promising a visually striking presentation.
