1862 – new recommended trays set

The trays you praise us for are dedicated to the track tiles from 18xx games. Sometimes they fit in with tokens from other games, but we focus on 18xx. And they work perfectly well in most 18xx games. Even where it seemed impossible, we found the perfect tray set with everything in a box. This is the case in 18CZ, 1844/54, or 1849.

However, there is one title in which we have already changed the suggested tray set 3 times. It’s about 1862, of course. There are so many components in this game, so many different tokens, and a total of 20 big companies. So the game is very demanding in this respect.

The last change to the featured set took place after we had received the card boxes. By accident, it turned out that the train permit cards that previously had to be kept in zip lock bags fit perfectly in a large card box. Therefore, for a few days, I had been thinking about the perfect configuration. So that I could fit everything in the game box in the best and most intuitive way.
The previous set is good enough. It fits in the box very well, while the new one sticks out literally by 2 millimeters, but everything is arranged a bit better in the new one. You can see the effect in the video below.

The advantage of our trays is their universality if you bought the previous set, but find that you like the new one better, you can use the trays from the previous set in another game 🙂
