According to news from Heavy Cardboard we sadly need to inform all of you, 18xx gamers, that iconic person of our hobby – Francis Tresham – passed away.
His name is mentioned in probably most of the rulebooks of 18xx games, and on few of boxes. Thank you for your imagination and starting this beautiful genre of games.
Rest In Peace.
His contribution to the hobby through his creations of Civilisation and the seminal 18XX system will live long after all of us. An amazing fellow and one who will be sorely missed. Vale Mr Tresham.
